Terms of service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of the CIO CTO Consulting authentication service and related websites at https://www.cioctoconsulting.com/, operated by CIO CTO Consulting (“we”, “us”).
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
CIO CTO Consulting provides technology advisory services. The authentication app lets authorized clients, partners, and team members sign in with Google to access our websites, client portals, and related tools. Features may change. We may suspend or discontinue the service with reasonable notice when practical.
2. Accounts and Google Sign-In
You may sign in with a Google Account. You must have the right to use that Google Account. You are responsible for activity under your CIO CTO Consulting account.
Google authentication is provided by Google. Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google’s terms and privacy policy. We receive only the Google account information you authorize on Google’s consent screen, as described in our Privacy Policy: name, email address, profile photo, and Google account ID.
You may revoke CIO CTO Consulting’s access to your Google Account at any time at Google Account permissions.
3. Acceptable use
You may not:
Misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt other users
Use the service to violate law or Google’s API terms
Reverse engineer the service except where the law allows
Resell access or scrape the product without our written permission
We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to operate the service for you.
Google user data is handled only as described in the Privacy Policy and Google’s API Services User Data Policy.
5. Intellectual property
CIO CTO Consulting, its name, and its software are owned by CIO CTO Consulting. These Terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.
6. Disclaimers
The authentication service is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, except where the law requires otherwise.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CIO CTO Consulting is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the authentication service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for that service in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, the limitation applies only to the extent allowed.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time by emailing privacy@cioctoconsulting.com or support@cioctoconsulting.com. We may terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we shut down the service.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. The updated date will appear at the top. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when practical.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, excluding conflict of law rules. Courts located in Georgia have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may bring consumer claims in your place of residence where required by law.
